Is there an way to get divorced in

mass, easily? I do not want anything

from my husband, we have been

only married for 4 years. We have no

children together, did not purchase a

home together, and I would like to

just sign a piece of paper and get my

name back

If both spouses can work together in agreeing to all the material terms of their divorce, a joint petition for divorce and separation agreement can be presented to the court for approval.

While both sides should be represented in the formation of a joint separation agreement, this uncontested process is generally cheaper and faster than a contested divorce.

Yes, you file a joint petition for dovorce, and file the financial information, copy of your marriage certificate with a signed settlement agreeement. You wait six moonths for the court to hold a hearing and grant the divorce.
