I'm Legally separated divorce proceeds continuing... Question is if I hit the lottery for $$$ would she be entitled to any of the $$$?

Let's be real here. Are you really expecting to hit the lottery...or have you done so, and you're trying to figure out what to do now?

If you have already hit the lottery, it is a marital asset. If you hit the lotter at ANY time before a judgment nisi enters, it is a marital asset.

This, however, does not answer whether your ex will be granted any PORTION of the winnings. That is a subject of equitiable divisin -- equitable meaning "fair." And fair depends on many factors.

Please be aware that if you have a lottery winning, and you hide it, the Court is entitled to consider that as an equity in the ex-spouse's favor in assigning property.

Honesty is always the best policy.
