Divorce in MA of couple Married in the Philippines

I know that divorce is not typically allowed in the Philippines. However, this couple has moved to Massachusetts and would like to be divorced. Will the divorce be possible in MA and will it then be possible for them to remarry (within the US) at a later date (even if the Philippines doesn't recognize the divorce?)

If the parties have lived in Massachusetts for a minimum of six months, they can get divorced in Massachusetts. The divorce will be recognized in all 50 states.
