divorce memorandum

I don't know what to do. I need to fill out a memorandum for divorce and I don't know what to do.

If you are filing for divorce, you file a complaint for divorce with a certified copy of your marriage license and affidavit of in support of the complaint.

While many people try to do it yourself divorces, I do not recommend it becuase things get missed or messed-up. If you can't afford an attorney, there are volunteer groups. You can contact the Boston Bar Association or the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Most of the forms you need can be obtained from the Probate Court Website.

Some courts have general forms, or you can contact the law library for a model of a separation agreement.
