You must get in touch with your wife's lawyer and explain the situation to them. Not showing up without notice and an excuse that needs to be put in writing is a big problem for you.
Re: Divorce
If you're homeless, why are they trying to get $100/day from you. Do they think you have some hidden assets? Why don't you just sign the divorce papers?
Re: Divorce
You should contact your wife's attorney and explain you can't appear and why. You should also indicate to the attorney and the court while you are unable to attend a deposition in MA you will make yourself available in Texas. There is a provision which will allow a deposition to be taken out of state in this manner.
Good luck.
