If there is no basis for a divorce trial, can one party force

a trial

If you and your spouse disagree to material

facts -- facts that would allow the judge

to make a decision for one and not the other

-- then there is a basis for a divorce trial.

If there are other witnesses, you or your

spouse would need to call them to the stand

to testify and to be cross-examined.
