Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
i am divorced. my question is in the judgement it says: The expectant interest of the Defendant in the estate of his late mother, valued at 120,000. is to be divided when received, with 45% going to Wife an 55% going to Husband. The house that is what he inherited is now in his name after 4 years and he has filed the deed under his name. How can I approach him for my 45% of the share of this inheritance?
I have a lifetime restraining order on him so can't call/write so what do I do. I want my share of that money.

Retain an attorney to seek enforcement of the divorce judgment. Good Luck!
As Mr. Murray said: Retain an attorney and seek enforcement of the divorce settlement.
You can file a contempt complaint yourself, and seek enforcement of the divorce judgment, but you will be better-off using an attorney.
You should engage an attorney to bring the issue into to Court. His failure to obey the order appears to be a financial contempt of court. Thus, any attorney will be able to seek to have your fees repaid by your ex, and you will be presumed entitled to that added benefit. I would be happy to consult with you privately, and practice in Middlesex County.
