Can my spouse force me to buy them out if we own our house jointly?
If I have physical custody of our son does that factor the decision at all?

You have not said if there is a divorce filed, or if the matter is or has been to court,or if the divorce is completed. If it is, what does the separation agreement say, or the final court order.
