The only thing I get from him is child support and that is it. I am just wondering if I have achance a tthis and what I shoudl bring with me to court. He hired a lawyer and I can not afford one. To succeed on a complaint for Modification, you must be able to prove a material change in circumstances since the previous order. Most attorneys would require about a $750 retainer in anticipation of about 4-5 hours of time preparing and presenting your complaint in court. Good Luck!

Lawyers vary in cost. You should have a more extensive consultation to determine what you want and what you likely will get. Please feel free to contact me or any other lawyer here for a brief consultation.
