domestic abuse

I live in Massachusetts and am continually verbally abused by my alcohlic husband. He refuse to leave the home and I cannot leave. We have a 7 yr old son who has been witness to the verbal abuse. Can I have him removed from the home? What do I do? thank you

You really need to get you and your son to a safe location.

Running away is not answer.

Your husband is presently entitled to stay in the same home.

Your solution is to seek legal counsel, and if there is an imminent risk of physical not verbal harm, you should definitely act at once.
