Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

ending an order for support

The court ordered my ex-husband to pay me weekly through payroll deduction. It is a set amount he owes me. When that amount is reached will it automatically stop? Do I need to go back to court? I do not want to go over the agreed settlement. Thank you very much for your time.

Re: ending an order for support

Are you talking about child support or something else. If it is child support, then the employer is required to deduct a fixed amount and send it to you or where ever the order dictates. If it is something else, then please explain?
