Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I'm engaged to be married next year to a man who has a child from a previous marriage. He pays child support and I'm wondering after we're married, if my income will be considered/combined with his when any future financial dealings come up between them? Including possibly a child support increase. We live in Massachusetts

You are not obligated to support another person's child. Your income is not considered in the usual case.

you will find many answers from me and others on similar questions, in which we point out the "Trump exception." If by some chance you are Donald's daughter and making a huge amount of money on your own and with his trust funds, your spouse's ability to pay child support from HIS income will be increase. this is because young Ms. Trump is legally obligated to support her new husband. As the new husband has much more free income, his support obligation could (in theory, at least) go right up to "Every penny he earns on his own."

The "Trump Exception" is not a likelihood, presumably.
