Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

When my ex-fiance asked me to marry him, he was in active drug addiction ( I was unaware of this.) Months later, he admitted his addiction and went through the painful process of withdrawal and rehab. I spent two years engaged to him, all the while caring for him to my own detriment ( time off of work etc.) Last April, he took my ring and moved out of our house while I was in the hospital. In this case, I believe I should get the ring not only because he left me, but defrauded me by failing to admit his drug addiction, which had I known, I would not have said yes, and would have left. In addition, I spent around $22,000 in wedding expenses that were non-refundable, the return of the ring and subsequent sale would allow me to recoup some of that expense. What is your opinion?
