Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
My ex-husband was abusive verbally & physically is there anything I can do legally? Our divorce was done in MA, I now reside in NH.

You can seek a protective order so he cannot contact you or come within a certain distance of you. I suggest you contact a NH attorney.

Verbal abuse is a conclusion that on its own stands for little. If he is threatening or striking you, then you should seek help from the police and from the Court.
