Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
My ex-wife has filed a motion through her attorney to take sole custody of my 14 year old daughter, though we have had shared custody for 8 years. The motion as filed is full of lies and falsehoods presented to make me look bad. She is also requesting costly requirements of me that I cannot afford. I know the things she is requesting are not what is best for my daughter, whom she has manipulated with negative input regarding me. I do not have the money for a lawyer, so must defend myself and would like to submit a counter claim, argument, motion, whatever the actual term is. Your help is greatly appreciated. I just want what is truly best for my daughter. The case will take place in Cambridge, MA. Thank you.
