Can ex-wife go after future wife for child support? Once married does the system look at both incomes? Please advise.

If one of the parents remarries and a modification of child support is filed, only the income of the parents of the child will be considered with regards to child support. However the financial affidavit that must be submitted to the court, in addition to disclosing your income, the financial affidavit also includes questions about expenses and assets. Therefore if one party is remarried the expenses that are shared with their new spouse would have to be reflected. In addition, any assets that either parent has an interest in also needs to be reflected on the Financial, even if it is a joint interest, account or investment with the new spouse.

I hope that helped.

Thank you,
