falsely accused abuse

my 16 yo son is being accused of abusing my 10 yo grandson, no truth to it at all,my older son, my grandsons father ,live with me,an just last week got full custody of my grandson,an his x girlfriend was not happy about it, sense my son could ,an would never abuse my grandson in any way,she is the only person who would lie an try to cause upset in the family,i would like to know if my 16 yo son an my 10 yo grandson have any legal rights to be able to face their accuser

This is a DSS issue, not a criminal issue.
