Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Family court/appeals court

Family court denied me closing arguments after a two day trial. Appeals court affirmed saying that the Judge was busy and had another trial to do. I'm trying to find the MGL on trial proceedure in MA

If you do not have the opportunity to give an oral closing in family court, you have the opportunity to submit a closing in writing, if you ask for it. Also, you could offer a proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law, if you ask.

This is the danger you faced when you chose to represent yourself without an attorney. There are many rules that only a practiced attorney know because, even though they're public information, parties going pro se don't research everything.
