Can my family force another familymember into rehab?

My stepmother is an alcholic of many years. She is also a recovering anorexic. She has blackouts and I fear for the two small chlidren in our home. Can her husband of 20 years commit her to a treatment facility without her consent?

Can my family force into rehab

He can go to the local court and ask them to commit her if she is a danger to herself or to others because of alcohol abuse.
