The names on my birth certificate are false. Can my mother get in trouble for doing this

What do you mean by false?

Yes,you can change the names, but it depends on the facts.

If your mother signed documents under the pains and penalties of perjury, she could in theory be prosecuted for submitting incorrect information. However, I doubt that this will ever be a problem.
