If a father's girlfriend is not allowing the parents of a child to talk and preventing all co-parenting and refusing for the child to see his mother to get his asthma medication during an attack and shouting at the father "I don't wnat her here over and over in front of the child and his friends during visitations and shouting at the child to hang up on his mother and the father is too afraid to say anything to his girlfriend can anything be done? Not to the father but to her? The child is also afraid of her. She is very verbally abusive. She has even said awful things to the father in front of the child.

I suggest you contact an attorney and discuss possible actions that can be taken including seeking a contempt against the ex and his girl friend or requesting an investigation of your ex's home as a proper environment for the child.
The Court will appoint a GAL or the probation department to request this. The Court may also limit the child's contacts with the father or impose limits.
