Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
My friend has been separted and filed a divorce for almost a year. His dad bought him a car. Can his wife take the car since the divorce is not settle and has the kids?

Most likely the wife would not be able to take a car gifted to your friend at this point in a divorce, but any and all property will be considered marital property for purposes of the divorce. My advice would be to have your friend hire an attorney and get his divorce finalized before additional issues arise.
