Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I have full legal and physical custody of my five year old son which was court ordered five years ago. my ex wife is demanding visitations after five years. no visitation schedules were ordered am I under any obligation to grant her any?

Without a court order granting her parenting time with your son, you have no legal obligation to allow her to have time with your son. In order for her to seek visitation/parenting time with your son, she would have to file a Complaint for Modification with the appropriate county Family and Probate. Unless there is an issue where the child's safety is at issue, or another issue where you feel that it would be harmful for your son to spend time with your ex-wife, her complaint for modification would probably be allowed.
