Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I gave temporary custody to grandmother while i was becoming homeless. i did nothing wrong to my daughter and now shestrying to not give her back. im going to courtaugust 11th but the court hired a investigator and i still havent been assigned one. 4 investigators declined the case. its close to my court date and nothing has beensolved. the grandmother is trying to take my rights away.
