Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My girlfriend mortgaged her house to pay her husbands debt, now they have had the marriage annuled and are separated...Can she get out of the mortgage as he says it is not his problem and will no longer pay her half. She can prove she paid for the house (in cash) before they met.

the only main way is to get him to remortgage.

If he cedes his title on the deed and she is the sole person on the mortgage, it is doable.
