Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
My grandson
Mom and dad are not married. Mom has him living in a 1 bdrm and there are 3 of us. Dad has his own apt which is disgustingly filthy. Dad wants more visitation and has been to an attorney. (his family has money and a business attorney) We have nothing in terms of money. Dad had 2 DUI's and has a breathalizer in his vehicle. He has a brother (who lives with his parents) in his 20's with paranoid schizophrenia. We do not want dad to have as many visitation as he wants. Right now 1 night a week works and they get along. Since my daughter has told him they will never be together, he has become very angry and does not answer his phone at times even when he has the child. He also states that he does not need to tell her where he brings the child. Not sure what to do...........Also would need a pro bono attorney as we are barely getting by. We have tons of love for this child and a stable home(apt) What we are afraid of is the dads parents have resources and money and we will lose to that. My daughter is a good mom (23yrs old) and loves her son. The babys dad has an anger problem as the other grandmother! Pleas help

So what is your question.
Re: My grandson
I note from your zip code that you are near my area. I would be glad to have an in-office consultation, and I have a published reduced-fee schedule.
Based on what you say, the child's mother has a basis to seek restriction of visitation and sole legal custody.
