Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

guardian/school

I am legal guardian to my granddaughter. She has been staying with her great-grandmother in another town where she wants to attend high school. I have been told by the school she has to live with me. Is this true? Could she live with her biological father and still keep me as guardian?

: guardian/school

The school can and should require that a child attend where the guardian lives.

The only alternative is to appoint another guardian.
