Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

guardianship

if an individual with a cognitive disability has 2 guardians (e.g., both parents, a parent and a sibling) are both guardians' signatures required on consent forms and other documents requiring a guardian's signature? What if one guardian lives out of state?

guardianship decisions.

Often the signature of one of the two guardians is sufficient. This depends on the magnitude of the issue, and the terms of the guardianship.

I do not understand what you mean by one guardian out of the state. How is this a factor in the present problem, and what is the present problem?

Let me know.
