Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Can I be held in contempt for court ordered visitiations with the non-custodial parent if he does not show and does not call for them? He does not show for half of them sometimes more and when the child is sick he does not wnat to take him. I even offer him to come in the house and see he in the bedroom but he only stays with him like 3 minutes and hurries out. When he finally does have him he picks him up late and rops him off early.....way early. So I stay home waiting not knowing when he will be home?
