Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Ex husband is charging me $15 a week to claim children as tax deductions

My ex gave me the option of claming my children as tax deductions if I was to agree on lowering my child support $15..At the time it sounded like a good idea so I signed a informal contract made by him..within weeks he went down on support again because my oldest turned 18..he figured out the guidline worksheet and came up with an amount and minused the 15 dollars again..do I have any recourse on this matterbecause now my support just about covers food and a few bills ..although my son is 18 he still lives at home and eats me out of house and home..thank you in advance..

Child support can only be reduced if the court orders it. You can consult an attorney or ask the Department of Revenue to collect the money for you.
