Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husband has a court order not to have his (adulterous) female companion at his residence in the presence of my children and he defies this and has her there even with them and they just want to see their Dad, my attorney is passive and does not file comtempt on this. What should I do? My husband also canceled our health insurance in violation of the automatic restraining order and removed files from our house that I put together in my writing time and effort.

I suggest you speak with your attorney ASAP. The medical insurance is a major issue and the contempt for that can be coupled with the other order.

If you are dissatisfied with your attorney's response, I suggest you contact another attorney directly for a second opinion.

Good Luck.

Hello,

I agree with Attorny Roth's answer. In addition if he was found guilty of contempt a judge may find that he is responsible for your attorney fees.

Thank you,

I agree with the other attorneys. If you are not satisfied with your current attorney, locate an attorney who specializes in family law.
