Hello,

Generally speaking in order to remove a child from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you would have to petition the courts for removal. If the mother and father do not object to the removal, than it should happen fairly quickly. If however either of them object to the removal and no agreement is reached, ultimately the case would go to trial.

You will need the consent of the court to remove the child from Massachusetts. If the order is granted, then get certified copies of the orders granting you custody and permission to move to GA and take them with you to GA.
