Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husband has full permanent custody of his 3 children since 2008 I've been living with him and taking care of the children since then. We got legally married in 2009. The mother of the kids abandoned them and also she is deported now my husband is in jail since January for drug conspiracy charges. How can i get custody of the children? if it matters we are in Massachusetts

Your answer is dependent on the current legal situation of the kids. If DCF is involved, you will want to request custody through the juvenile court. If there is no case, you can file for guardianship in the probate court.
