Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My husbands ex wife is filing a modification for an increase in child support (they have a 15 year old child together). My husbands income is higher than it was 8 years ago (when they divorced) but only cost of living raises, he is a teacher. Does this alone qualify for an increase? She is remarried (neither she nor her new husband work full time) and she has a 2 year old with him and another on the way. I feel as though her changes in circumstances have changed but not affecting us or my husbands daughter.

The MA guidelines say the amount of support could be $270 a week (which we have a baby now in day care and cannot affort that much, we will loose our house if requiered to pay that) and I feel as thought my husband is being asked to support a family that is not his. Any advise or idea if the judge will order thius hight amount?
