Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Illegal possession of belongings

My girlfriend and I recently ended our relationship in Las Vegas. We had been living together. I left the house returned to Massachusetts with the understanding that she would send the remains of my belongings. She is now refusing to send my stuff, some of which include family heirlooms. What legal action can I take to receive my belongings??

Re: Illegal possession of belongings

You could file an action in Massachusetts seeking the value of the goods, and also requesting the return of the items. You need to check whether the long arm statute applies in this case.
