Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Insurance

I would like to know if I can have my girlfriend taken off my company insurance. She had me leave with my son a short time ago and I don't think I should cover her any longer. She works and has her own insurance now. If I can how do I go about doing this so I don't have any problems.

Thank You

Re: Insurance

Unless there is a court order requiring you to cover her, simply obtain, complete and file change of beneficiary forms. If there is a court order you will need to file a complaint for modification of the order.

Re: Insurance

I believe there is no requirement to cover any person, especially a none-family member like your ex-girlfriend.
