my son is in the air force he will be going to iraq in april. he has custody of his son. his exwife is in the army in a different state is there anything he can do to prevent exwife from taking his son what are the laws to protect him and the baby. she abandonded them but now has visitation. my grandson is 3

My law partner and I are both Army veterans and reservists. The mother would have to have an effective "family care plan" with the Army before this would even be considered.
