joint custody

my sister has a baby who my mom is helping her with since day one. my sister would like to know how she can file joint custody with my mother for my nephew. my sister is in school and my mom is the one taking full responsibiliy over him.

Your Mother should retain an attorney to file a Guardianship of a Minor Complaint to which your sister can assent. Good Luck!
