judge recusal

My ex sister in law and my

daughters maternal grandmother

work for the judge. Should he

recuse himself.

A judge's recusal is a matter of his or her discretion. That being said, if this is brought to the judge's attention in a proper motion, most judges would recuse themselves if they work directly with siblings or parents of parties.

If you and/or your attorney bring to the Judge's attention in an appropriate motion your relationship to the two people who work for him and question his ability to be impartial, he may in his discretion recuse himself. Good Luck!
