Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
Legal Seperation
I recently filed a form for seperate support (to be legally seperated). When filling out the forms my reason for filing was irretrievable breakdown of marriage.I was told that was a valid reason for justifiable cause.I now have received the forms back in the mail stating that is not a valid reason. My husband and I have just had alot of very stressful and financial burdens that we can no longer deal with together. Please help me and let me know if my reason for using irretrievable breakdown of marriage is valid for a seperation agreement, not a divorce agreement.
Thankyou

Re: Legal Seperation
Usually it is a valid reason. However, it sounds like you may have written more than you needed to in the Complaint for Separate Support.
My initial consult is on the house if you are interested in discussing your situation, please feel free to contact me either via email at [email protected] or by telephone, which is provided under my profile.
