Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
Is there liability in divorce?
I am married 7 years with 3 children 5 years of age and younger. My wife has been having an affair with her boss, a senior manager at a high profile institution. She has filed for divorce against me. I want to know is there any liability on the part of the "boss" in this scenario. My wife agreed to seek counseling but the guy won't leave her alone and she has since said that she has changed her mind and wants to go forward with the divorce. Can I sue him for damages? I saw on a news special that this happened to a woman I believe in Atlanta and she won damamges from the interferring party!

Massachusetts has statutorily abolished the tort of alienation of affections.
