Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
I live in Massachusetts. Have been divorced since Aug 09. Awarded $80 a month for 2 teenage boys for child support. Ex Husband filing for SS disability. Has been denied 3 times. How do I request a status hearing, to determine when and if I will receive a portion of the disablity , and to keep informed of the process?

If the $80.00 per month in child support was written in your divorce agreement which then became a judgment in August, 2009, then you would have to file a Complaint for Modification with regards to child support. A complaint will open the case and you can request status hearings throughout the case.
