Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

m going through a divorce and in the divorce agreement we agreed that he needs to remove in one year my name from the house mortgage. What happens if he doesnt follow the agreement and what can i do if he doesnt? In my worst moment of the relationship i felt pressured to sign a paper where it say that im not responsable of that house and that i wont receive anything from it? How valid is that? If we sell the house bcs of that paper i wont receive my part. I have two kids and he moved back to PR.

This is the message i send you before. I forgot to tell you that in the agreement he signed to take me out in one year , but me not being responsable and not receiving anything from the house was not in the agreement. It was a letter he typed in his own. Is that still valid . Thank you. Im looking foward to contact you and help me with this process if things gets worst bcs he doesnt cooperate.

I'm also leaving in his sister house in the basement thats not legal and im paying rent. I've been searching apartments ,but she just told me that me and my kids we need to leave in two weeks and i dont have a place to go. Can she do that?

The separation agreement approved by the court is the law. If he disobeys the court order, you need to file a contempt action. As far as this agreement, your description of it is unclear. You really need to consult with an attorney. You can petition the court for child support and any other action where the two of you need with the issues related to your kids.

As to your sister, you are a guest, and she can ask you to leave.
