Marital Asset

Am I legally responsible for a mortgage that is in my husbands name should anything happen to him. Example, loss of job, accident, health. I am not on the deed.

if it is a marital property, theoretically you have an interest.

Look at the other side, something happens to your husband. The bank forecloses. Do you want to be heard?
