Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Married less than year, can she get alimony

My brother-in-law has been married just less than a year. His marriage has been a nightmare due to his wifes behaviors over past 6-8 months. There has been a mutual decision to divorce and he wishes to take the steps to make this happen. She has threatened spiteful actions such as claiming alimony. He makes considerable amount more than she because he works full-time. She only works part-time, however, very capable to work full-time to support herself. Is she entitled to alimony under Massachusetts law if they havent been married for even one entire year by the time they file for divorce?
