Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I am in Massachusetts. I have a 15 year old stepson that has molested my 9 year old son. He is being brought up on charges of rape amongst other things. We currently pay child support and want to know if we will have to pay still if he is convicted and in prison or a group home. Im afraid that his mother will try and take us to court for more money even thought he is convicted of a crime. Can you please help.

You have to obey the court orders. If there is a court order for you to pay then you must continue to do so. If the child goes to jail, then you may file a modification to change the child support order.
