Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Material change?

I am the NCP of 1 child. At the time of the divorce 2 years ago she was with me everyother weekend and 1 day during the week. For a variety of reasons she is now with 50% more time.

Does this increase in time constitute a material change of circumstance to warrent a change in the child support?

: Material change?

It could, and if it cost-effective, you can file for modification.

Re: Material change?

If I read your question correctly, you are saying that you've added another overnight or so. I would not advise filing a modification on that basis.

If you are saying that you now have the child 50% of each week, or every other week, my answer would be different.
