Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Mom has mental illness, kicks Dad out
I`m an unmarried biological father of 6 yr. old twins. Mom is bi-polar takes meds irresponsibly (skips, stops all together, etc..)she has been hospitalized 4 times in last 5 years because of this, for a few months every year she turns our lives upside down with these problems (paranoya, confusion, false accusations aginst me, her father, other family members of sexual abuse, murder, etc..), much of which the kids hear, causing an unsafe environment psycologicaly for them. Her history of mental illness goes back long before i was involved with her. Now she had me removed from our home the police came and said i should leave and then take legal action against her. I have filed a complaint with DSS as other people have in the past, usually hospitals, now i`m waiting to hear from them. I would like to know what my next step should be, and also don`t I have just as much right to my children as she does? or more?
