what happens if the mother of my child gets re-married, gets pregnant and decides to stop working. how would this affect my child support? Since it is her choice on whether to work, could she come after me for more child support?? If so , it doesn't seem fair.

The Massachusetts Child Support Guidelines do take both Parties' incomes into account, If the mother of your child's income has decreased because of the fact that she is currently pregnant or at home caring for her young children, it may have an impact on your child support. She would have to file a modification of child support based on the fact that her income has decreased significantly. If you were to have an another child, you too would be able to file a Modification asking the court to decrease your support payments based on the fact that you have additional dependants.
