Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Hi. I am the mother of a 15 year old. I pay child support to the father because he is 1) underemployed and 2) I make substantially more than he, now that I am forced to work full time. She often requests I buy things for her like clothing, books. My question is, in the case of shared custody (50/50) with one paying another child support, what are my obligatioons to buy things. I feel these are his responsibilities as the recipient, but my expectation as her mother?

If he is underemployed, you can get the court to impute income. There are no external obligations except to the extent they are required by the Court.
